The Job Site
The Job Site is a psychiatric day program that individuals attend
Monday
through Friday.
Skill building is focused on developing community,
pre-vocational, social,
recreational, and wellness skills.
R Way's facilities are
accredited and inspected by CARF, the Nebraska
Department of Health
and Human Services, the Nebraska Fire Marshal and the
Department of Agriculture.
R Way’s
Day Rehabilitation (The Job Site) Program. The desired outcome of the
Day Rehabilitation program is
- To enhance and maximize the consumer’s ability to function
in community settings
- To decrease the frequency and duration of hospitalization.
Consumers
attending The Job Site can expect to:
- Learn in a safe, challenging, supervised environment
- Learn daily and community living skills necessary for independent
living
- Develop skills to manage their medication regime and illness
- Decrease necessity, frequency and of hospitalization
- Learn social skills, develop relationships, learn to
work as a team

Individuals served in this program receive
rehabilitation and support services to develop and maximize the skills needed
to successfully live in this community. Day Rehabilitation is a facility
based program for persons disabled by severe and persistent mental illness.
The program shall provide pre-vocational services, planned socialization and
skills training, community living skills and daily living skills training,
and recreation activities focused on identified rehabilitation needs. Prevocational
services include services designed to rehabilitate and develop the general
skills and behaviors needed to prepare the consumer to be employed and/or
engage in other related substantial gainful activity (the program does not
provide assistance in obtaining permanent competitive employment positions
for consumers). The program provides consumer skills development for
self administration of medication, as well as recognition of signs of relapse
and control of symptoms.
